Power System Application Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Power System Application Engineer to join our engineering team.The successful candidate will assist in the design, development, implementation, and testing of power system applications, contributing to innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the modeling, configuration, tuning and customization of power system applications.
• Support the implementation of power system applications and tools, ensuring they meet industry standards and client specifications.
• Participate in testing and validation of power system applications to ensure accuracy and functionality.
• Provide technical support and assistance to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to power system applications.
• Contribute to the preparation of technical documentation, reports, and presentations (such as test books, operator manuals, mission reports, system audit reports, etc.)
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in power systems and related technologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in power systems engineering or a related field.
• Good understanding of power system concepts and algorithms, including load flow, fault analysis, and stability.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent writing skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good understanding of C++ and Python programming languages.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

• Experience with GE's Electrification software application suite
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations in power systems
• Understanding of new mico-services technologies (containerization, docker Kubernetes, kafka, etc. )
