The Partner Manager for the Growth Region, will own and manage the strategy for building go-to-market relationships with influential partners and alliances who form the backbone of GE Vernova's digital and grid solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with experience covering a large geography who can translate their partner management experience into commercial impact.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Strategic Partner Engagement: Develop and execute a comprehensive regional strategy for engaging with alliance partners (Accenture, Infosys, PwC, Cognizant, etc.), technology partners (AWS, Microsoft, SAP, Itron) as well as regional partners that aligns with GE Vernova's goals for the Growth Region.
- Go-to-Market Collaboration: Drive go-to-market strategies with partners and internal sales that drives new joint pipeline and brings new solutions to market, focusing on customer acquisition, expansion, and revenue growth.
- Executive Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with executives from the alliances you manager, securing their commitment to collaborative goals and facilitating regular executive briefings and strategy sessions.
- Recruit, Enable and Develop New Partnerships: Identify new partner opportunities, recruit into the GE Vernova Partner Program, onboard and enable new partners, ensuring our ecosystem is primed for rapid deployment and customer success.
- Provide Cross-Functional Management: Work closely with GEV's sales, product, engineering, and marketing teams to align joint initiatives around GE Vernova's product strategy, sales plays and customer needs.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in partner management, sales, marketing, or business development focused on software alliances, particularly in the context of an industrial or utilities/energy setting.
- Professional Network: Draw on your professional network within key alliances, including recent engagement with executives, practice areas, and business development teams.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Track Record: Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-party sales motions with GSI and technology partners, including experience with go-to-market and marketplace strategies that drive measurable results across a broad geography
- Technical Knowledge: Business level understanding of utilities, grid and AI/ML applications in industry settings, with a proven ability to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating compelling presentations, solution briefs, and customer stories that articulate clear value propositions.
