Job Description

The Role

For the Electricity Substation industry in Norway, the OFS is responsible for ensuring that the specified scope (Equipment & Service) is completely delivered at the required location and at the right time as per contractual requirement.

The OFS is responsible for:

  • Working as part of a project team to deliver complex EPC projects.
  • Placement of Purchase Orders onto suppliers for equipment & services.
  • Working closely together with other functions such as Sourcing, Engineering & planning for project progress.
  • Ensuring close follow up with suppliers for timely receipt of project documentation & equipment delivery to site.
  • Possible progress visits to supplier's premises if required, within Norway & other countries.
  • Working with the suppliers to overcome delays with a concurred mitigation plan.
  • Following GE process & procedures & use relevant tools required.
  • Ensuring on time payment of supplier invoices.

Performance Measurement

  • On-time complete delivery of specified equipment & services as per Purchase Order.
  • Adherence to the global processes and IT Tools for expediting.
  • Works as per GE's the spirit & the letter Integration.

Desired Profile & Experience

  • 2 years of relevant experience is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Languages: fluent in written and spoken English & Norwegian.
  • Pro-active and problem-solving attitude.
  • Networking and communication skills.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Flexible with travels.
