Interns will work with NPI System Integration & Verification team getting hands-on with GE's eLumina Control Systems.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the tracking and management of HVDC system components in terms of eLumina Control System in the NPI lab and related materials, ensuring accurate stock levels are maintained.
- Coordinate the procurement, storage, and distribution of inventory items for NPI lab.
- Prepare and maintain the list of components to be considered for spares along with the tracking of latest Firmware version details.
- Help the team in terms of cubicle interconnection and red marking of drawings.
- Be a part of Hardware System Integration Tests and help the team in terms of documentation.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's Degree program at an accredited university.
- Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering.
- Understanding in inventory management or supply chain operations, preferably within the electrical or HVDC industry.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and suppliers.
- Familiar with Health and Safety of the Laboratory and Cubicle Test Area.

- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve inventory issues.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Proactive approach to managing inventory needs and addressing potential issues before they arise.
