Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist with payroll processes, including prioritization, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
- Serve as escalation points to resolve issues or determine remediation steps, payroll approvals
- Support payroll tax administration in the U.S. and Canada•
- Support payroll tax delivery matters in US and Canada
- Partner with Vernova's tax team on employment tax compliance and audits
- Partner with the GE Vernova Tax Team and other tax specialists, and supports employment tax audit discussions with authorities as necessary
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, timeliness, and quality to ensure compliance with relevant legal and GE Vernova policy requirements
- Support monthly reviews, escalations, and year-end coordination
- Develop broad knowledge of processing procedures to ensure successful execution
- Drive increased productivity and compliance through process improvements, standardization, and simplification
- Work collaboratively across internal teams and establish strong working relationships with the business and key stakeholders in solving complex issues
- Resolve complex processing issues and escalations for internal and external customers while promoting "Best in Class" customer service

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field OR high school diploma/GED with at least 2+ years of relevant experience in payroll, HR operations, or related fields
- Experience in payroll & benefits, employment tax, or service operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to organize and analyze data
- Basic understanding of employment tax regulations

The base pay range for this position is $ 73,000.00 - 100,000.00 USD USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus. This posting is expected to close on 4/17/25.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
