Job Description Summary
Ensure compliance with business processes that involve ERP and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). This includes evaluation, monitoring, and correcting gaps that impact the flow of information and materials across the supply chain and shop operations. This role will be the bridge between IT tools and process development and the Operations team located at the level 4 aeroderivative repair depot in Houston, TX.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensures the team has the processes and tools they need to deliver on to meet customer commitments, while tracking on-going execution and delivery of projects. Drive project execution process training, awareness, adherence, and governance. Integrate multiple service management toolsets and processes into useful reports or summaries that improve decision making timing and create proper visibility to work teams.
- Requires specialized knowledge within Materials Management. Influence the development of strategy for continuous improvement reducing waste in material transactions and improving efficiencies.
- Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
- Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and can construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
- May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in an engineering domain plus 5 years of manufacturing or service shop experience or High School Diploma/GED plus 7-10 years of manufacturing or service shop experience
- At least 5 years of experience working with Oracle or SAP
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills with a proven track record to leverage data to drive decision making and to be able to articulate up in the organization and within direct organization to resolve systemic or anomaly events.
- Lean Methodology training/certification
- Strong in Excel, with expertise in manipulating data to present in a meaningful way
