Essential Responsibilities:
As the Materials Manager, you will:
- Work with MCU Planning teams in creating the 12 months Build plan for Amarillo shop and own/maintain the monthly rolling forecast process.
- Own the MRP-ASCP materials planning process based on projected forecasted demand.
- Translate material flow and routing from shop operations into the routing and sequences of the WIP job templates.
- Own Remanufacturing Cost Models per product and repair classes.
- Assist and support cost reduction projects by identifying repair services and reutilization options in close coordination with production, quality, engineering, and sourcing functions.
- Assure inventory and delivery goals are met and drive for the goal of zero customer disappointments while meeting business Service Levels
- Support Warehouse operations with the yearly Physical Inventory activity aiming towards minimal ERP variances
- Report KPI Metrics monthly on fulfillment performance and inventory levels.
- Disposition of excess and obsolete material, including auction of excess parts
- Enhance the current materials & inventory processes, using Lean methodologies
- Assure the continued development and growth of assigned personnel through strong leadership
- Work to control inventory levels, work center loads, and other aspects as required to meet production schedules, including creation of WIP jobs and follow up to completion.
- Coordinate material preparation/picking to the Reman/assembly lines, as per the daily and mid-term scheduling.
- Responsible for Outsourced phases of the Reman process, through cost , delivery and Indirect PO's, AP Check, Shipping/Receiving
- Manage team of Materials, Production Planners, Logistics and Fulfillment Specialists.
- Ensure the adequate orders fulfillment transactions in RACES and interact with internal/external customers as needed.
- Fulfill all the Plant customs and import/export requirements.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 6 years experience in Manufacturing Operations (gearboxes, drive train components, electrical components)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a Materials Planning or Engineering Role
Desired Characteristics:
- Extensive experience using an ERP system such as Oracle
- Experience leading purchasing and/or production planning teams
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong business and analytical ability
- Familiarity with production control systems and routines
- Ability to effectively manage changing and conflicting priorities and resolve appropriately
The base pay range for this position is $78,800 - $131,200 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for variable incentive compensation of 10%. This posting is expected to close no earlier than February 7, 2025.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
