Job Description Summary
The Rework Planner will manage the flow of direct rework material, as well as strategically develop and manage rework processes. As a Rework Planner you will work cross functionally with Production Control, Process Quality Engineering and Supplier Quality to ensure that all required materials to execute the schedule are available and that all transactions are properly executed in the ERP. In this role you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure timely creation and release of Rework Production Orders, Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders to support the master schedule.
- Provide functional material responsibility for all reworks, internally and/or at sub-contract processes, this includes material movements within the warehouse, shop, and subcontracting vendors.
- Work closely with Process Quality Engineering to develop a process to identify rework needs, create a process router and execute in a timely manner.
- Implement and lead the process to re-introduce rework materials to the production lines to support customer on time delivery.
- Monitor the implementation of corrective actions plans, control inventory levels of rework components, and coordinate the disposition of obsolete, non-conforming, and excess.
- Monitor performance to the plan and communicate key rework figures to leadership every month.
- Be responsible for inventory management for assigned parts and processes required to ensure material input to support customer requirements while financial inventory objectives are accomplished.
- Be responsible for system cleanliness through date management and exception message analysis and action.
- Interface with the Operations Team, Shop Scheduling, configuration control, Lifecycle Center of Excellence (COE), Service Center Mangers, and other GE organizations as required.
- Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution, including managing scheduling changes and new process development.
- Keep ERP system up to date, including updating scheduling changes.
- Apply appropriate Sourcing policies, drive sourcing program and lead material initiatives for strategic sourcing team, including management of deflation activities and supply change risk mitigation.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technical, Business, Supply Chain, or related fields with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Manufacturing, Quality, Materials, Inventory Management or Production Planning and Control and/OR a high school diploma / GED with at least 5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Quality, Materials, Inventory Management or Production Planning and Control.

The base pay range for this position is $74,800.00 - 93,500.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 5% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity.
