What impact you'll make:
As a member of the Manufacturing Engineering Team at the GE Vernova production site in Birr you will support the department in the production as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern for 6 to 12 months.
Job Description
What you'll do
- Create a training program for different levels of the organization.
- Provide a technical overview of how Gas Turbines & Generators function and are manufactured.
- Training to cover relevant products, processes, and design considerations such as: Structures, Rotor, Compressor, Combustor hardware manufacturing, HCF/Aero mechanics, Creep, LCF, Oxidation, Corrosion, HT, Aero.
- Component Interfaces & assembly.
- Training modules should be adjustable depending on target audience.

What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- Student of Bachelor/Masters degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline
- Excellent communication skills: Effective listening, written and oral communication in English.
- German will be considered an advantage.
