Job Description Summary
The primary responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician is to ensure equipment preventive and corrective maintenance according to manufacturer's specification and internal standards.
Job Description
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical/mechanical, equipment, machines, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform preventive maintenance as defined by internal schedule
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, electrical schematics, mechanical schematics and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Be example in respecting Safety and Environmental rules defined per internal procedure
- Detect and report any deviations which could impart our equipment performance and/or lifetime
- Suggest improvements to increase equipment and people efficiency
- Perform any special assignments assigned by the Maintenance Manager to support site
- Willingness to work in various shifts as needed by the management
- Requires a flexible work schedule, which may include nights and weekends to support operating schedule and the needs of the facility

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Minimum 5 years of experience performing maintenance duties within a manufacturing environment
- Minimum 2 years of PLC experience
Desired Characteristics:
- Demonstrate superior troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to identify root cause and resolution of equipment issues
- Read and interpret equipment schematics and manuals
- Perform equipment lockout/tag-out activities to safely de-energize equipment in accordance with plant program
- Proficient computer skills (Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office, Web interfaces) and responsive, customer-centric communication
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
