Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage All Logistics activities end to end, especially Imports with EXW, FCA, FOB incoterms in Sea/Air mode for all suppliers based out of China, Europe, US etc..
• Ability to handle multiple forwarders, Agents & Shipping lines & suppliers across the Globe
• Negotiating Rate Contracts for all shipments by taking quotes from different forwarders & closely working with Sourcing
• Coordination with Buyers, Suppliers & forwarders & make sure to deliver the material on-time
• Look out for cost opportunities like clubbing of shipments, consolidating requirements, at the same time not increasing the Inventory
• Proactive approach in sensing the Shipping delays like trans-shipment delays, Port calls etc.. & ability to find the alternate methods to ensure the deliveries on-time
• Maintaining the Live tracker/DSRs of Shipments in line with Open POs
• Daily Review with Material managers, Buyers & customs team to ensure no surprises or misses of shipments
• Knowledge of CCDC schemes like Advance license, MNRE, EPCG is preferred
• Application of Advance License, fulfilling all the export obligations & closure of licenses
• Constantly Work with the consultant who interacts with DGFT for documentation & closure of open licenses
• Closure of GR waivers, by working with Customs agent & Banks along with controllership

• Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Well-versed in Excel, Outlook, Ppts.
