Performs all Analyst and Coordinator duties under limited supervision. Reviews, analyze, and recommends transportation methods and procedures to develop and/or utilize the most efficient means of delivering the organization's products. Manages complex tasks and responsibilities to a high standard. Will assist lower level personnel and participate in training. Handles special projects, as assigned.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Manages daily shipments of customer orders to ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped compliantly
  • Schedules and coordinates International freight forwarder transactions
  • Assist and support Domestic shipment coordination as needed
  • Selects freight forwarders based on company objectives for cost and delivery
  • Maintains shipping records, which includes providing tracking or shipping history information to customers on request
  • Prepares shipping paperwork as well as completes shipping transactions in appropriate systems
  • Prepares appropriate labels for shipment as required
  • Complies with EHS & Quality System regulations and policies
  • Performs warehouse distribution duties in compliance with current GDP as per annual GDP Training and local procedures' (Core Imaging Only)
  • Proactively escalates issues preventing shipments from shipping complete and on time
  • Follows standard work procedures to enable communication with "customers" and "suppliers"
  • Performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned
  • Aware of and comply with Stop Order, Concession, Defect Awareness, ESD, Non-conforming Material, Material Identification/Segregation, and Good Documentation Practices procedures as associated with this job type/position.
  • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
  • Support receiving and inventory tasks on a needed basis

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Operations
  • Minimum of 3 years of inventory experience

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience in ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience in Import/Export logistics
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Previous "SAP order management preferred
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English and Spanish languages
  • Be able to read engineering drawings, Illustrated Parts Books, and Service and Product Bulletins
  • Capability to actively work on multiple tasks at the same time
  • Strong verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with lean action work-outs
  • Ability to stand, Sit and walk for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to work overtime
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds unassisted

The pay for this position is $25-$27/hr. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This posting is expected to close on 10/14/24.
