Job Description Summary
The Lean Line Supervisor reports to the Turbine Blade Repair Cell Leader and oversees a turbine blade repair lean line, driving efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement. The Lean Line Supervisor will lead a team of technicians, applying lean principles and tools to optimize workflows, eliminate waste, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Supervises the daily work of people in shift, evaluates and monitors the performance of their people several times a year, at specified intervals, embraces and organizes human and material / asset resources according to the production plan, Responsible for the quantity and quality of the manufactured / manufactured product.
- Supervise and lead a team of technicians in turbine blade repair operations, ensuring takt-based production and single-piece workflow alignment.
- Implement and maintain a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to identify and address waste, variability, and inefficiencies.
- Foster a safe and quality-focused work environment, promoting do-check-act (DCA) and plan-do-check-act (PDCA) methodologies.
- Manage employee performance, provide feedback, and address any performance issues.
- Suspend your activity if you are at risk of life-threatening or serious injury and immediately notify your workplace manager.
- Decision Making: Allowing Leave, Controlling Sickness / Sick Pay in accordance with the Sickness Policy, signs a list of materials that have been picked up and received from the warehouse, Finds the resources needed for production tasks.
- Develop and implement effective manpower planning strategies to ensure adequate staffing across all stations, including overtime management.
- Ensure full compliance with EHS and quality requirements.
- Manage training requirements for technicians.

Qualifications / Requirements:
- Minimum NITEC with at least 5 years relevant work experience or equivalent
- Experience in the management of physical workers.
- Experience in Lean would be advantageous.
- Able to work on rotating shift.
- User-level computer skills (MS Office, Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Skills: Ability to motivate, develop a positive team spirit, Highly prioritize on the basis of the information received, Excellent communication and presentation skills, Can work well in the team, Open, Fast and efficient decision making
