The Lean role will directly be related to developing and driving a lean / continuous improvement culture in a Project-based, transactional driven business. The candidate will participate in & lead process improvements, conduct lean training, and facilitate kaizen events - driving continuous improvement discussions and activities. There will be ongoing activities to apply and train on lean principles throughout the life cycle of the project environment. This includes, for example, leading teams in the analysis of processes, simplification of processes, eliminating waste, reducing cost, as well as standardizing and facilitating efficiency for lean optimization. This person will support a cross functional team (including tendering, engineering, project management, sourcing / procurement, logistics, quality, finance, PMO, quality and Lean and suppliers) dedicated to executing the lean roadmap to meet efficiency and milestone targets.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop & Implement the Lean Roadmap for the Region including planning of Kaizen, Continuous Improvement board, global Lessons Learned analysis, follow up of regional Audits.
- Manage the Lean Champions Network, team of volunteers passionate about Lean who will support Lean Regional Activities
- Perform Quality and Lean activities collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure efficiency (milestones, process improvements, etc..)
- Lead Kaizen Event, Implement counter measures and follow them at Region Level
- Generate new Improvement ideas and consolidate next cost-out action pipeline
- Manage the planning of Internal Audits for the Region and use the outcome to feed improvement board
Required Qualifications
- Higher education combined with minimum 5 years of work experience
- Minimum 2 years of quality / lean experience

- Language: English working level is mandatory, German is a strong plus
- Willingness to travel across Europe (expected travel rate: 50%)
