The Tender & Project Sourcing Specialist will lead sourcing for all the Project Business related (Included but not limited to AC System, Software, Grid Automation etc.) in Australia and New Zealand. Support Service Unit or other potential business when needed.

The Tender & Project Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Lead sourcing and procurement for Project Business (Included but not limited to AC System, Software, Grid Automation etc.).
  • Liaise with Bid and Project Managers for their sourcing and procurement needs
  • Manage priorities and timing of supplier and procurement activities in conjunction with Bid and Project Managers.
  • Request quotes, select suppliers, negotiate price and terms, support global 911 negotiation (when needed).
  • Raise Purchase Orders through SPT tool into SAP
  • Ensure suppliers delivery to order and on time.
  • Support finance for the payment arrangement, improve the on time payment.
  • Manage all the logistics for the internal or external material. Provide support on the cost estimation for the bidding phase, RFQ, negotiation and control the total cost during the OTR (project execution phase).
  • Support other sourcing functions (KCM, Tender, Project, Upstream, Supplier management...) in their sourcing actions, providing the necessary support in terms of negotiation, supplier homologation, shipping, pre-inspection, supplier performance improvement plans etc...
  • Supplier development and management for the regional Project Business, raise the FMDR for new setup, block, and update supplier information for the regional supplier base development.
  • Support colleagues in the organization when the support needed from responsible countries supplier market.
  • Willing to extend or adjust the business coverage according business needs.

About you:

Education / Experience

  • University Graduate, preferable degree (BSc or MSc) in Engineering or Business Management
  • 5+ years' experience in a sourcing management position, or in tendering / industrial project realization. The ideal is an experience in both Production Material and Project sourcing environment.
  • Project Management
  • Sourcing & procurement organization
  • Electrical sub-station components are highly appreciated

Desired Knowledge & Experience

5+ years of experience, within them 3-year exp. in industrial Sourcing Specific knowledge

  • SAP Purchasing
  • Advanced Sourcing methods, including a strong negotiation capability
  • Good understanding of international Business and Shipping Laws
  • Contracting
  • Focus on timely and cost-effective output. Knows how to deal with figures. Cost awareness
  • Ability to work, listen and influence in a multicultural environment.
