The Lead Supply Chain Finance Analyst has overall responsibility for leading the supply chain scope project budget review, for driving accounting compliance on project cost booking, and for driving process simplification and improvement.

Hydro Power - a major player in the hydroelectricity generation market - is a business division of GE Vernova. Our work includes the designing, manufacturing, and installation of equipment for hydroelectric power plants, as well as servicing and refurbishing existing facilities. Job Description

Responsibilities:

Leading the supply chain scope project budget reviews:

  • Cost control: Ensure proper actual cost booking, Check, control and monitor movements in Actual and Committed Costs, ask for corrections when necessary.
  • Project budget Review: Prepare the project quarterly margin review on Direct Material and Transportation portion with Project supply chain manager; clearly identify, evaluate and follow up the risks and opportunities; provide proper explanation and root cause analyses on project budget movement
  • Cash Out control: Provide accurate forecast on project supply chain scope cash out plan; identify actions to optimize project cash out timing

Driving accounting compliance, process simplification and improvement:

  • SOX Requirement: Ensure the Supply chain scope actual cost booking respect SOX requirements.
  • Internal /External Audit: Provide proper support to external and internal auditors including coordinate with operation teams to gather needed documents, respond to questions of auditors.

Required Qualifications: :

  • Education: University or College degree in Finance/Business/Economy/Accounting
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in financial planning, budgeting, reporting, monthly/quarterly closings, and project reviews
  • Language: Fluency in English
