Collaborate closely with internal departments to understand their sourcing needs, specifications, and requirements.
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, new suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering partnerships based on trust, reliability, and mutual benefits.
Lead supplier audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with ethical standards, legal regulations, and industry best practices.
Regularly review and analyse sourcing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and changes in regulations that may impact sourcing strategies.

Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, business administration, or a related field is an additional advantage.
Proven experience as a Sourcing Manager or in a similar sourcing role. In-depth knowledge of sourcing strategies, supplier management, and procurement processes.
Strong understanding of contract laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Proficient in using procurement software and tools.
Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills. Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
Strong organizational and time management skills. Professional certification such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) is a plus.
Experience in the power transformer industry or sector relevant to the company's operations is preferred.
