Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic project management leadership for large and complex High Voltage Electrical Transmission and Substation Turnkey projects.
  • Responsible for leading projects through all internal and external processes, and navigate the project life cycle
  • Ability to effectively manage technical teams and suppliers, across multiple large-scale projects and diverse locations
  • Build customer loyalty through project execution excellence and actively promote quality awareness and improvements
  • Delivery of complete project to agreed schedule and budget, able to multi-task across simultaneous project deliveries, demonstrating effective reporting, financial control, risk, scope & change management
  • Engage at sales bid stage to lead/support the commercial and technical teams, contributing to proposals to ensure that work is assessed, planned, appropriately estimated and a suitable deal is agreed, with appropriate cost and risks identified to maximize margin
  • Translate customer needs / requirements into detailed project plans while driving internal execution to meet project targets
  • Manage a network of resources (including contractors) in support of project execution.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the project in ways that bring value to our customer and satisfy our profitability requirements
  • Manage the project budget and timeline and ensure the resources are available to complete the project within budget and on time to meet customer obligations
  • Ensure that delivered products and services achieve highest quality and performance levels
  • Negotiate change orders with the customers
  • Professionally represent GE Vernova during all customer communications.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or relevant department
  • Minimum 7 years working experience of overall experience in project management of High Voltage Transmission and Distribution systems (132kV, 220kV, 500kV)
  • Leadership experience managing large teams and excellent project management
  • Proven track record to manage and resolve project issues throughout full project lifecycle
  • Ability to develop and execute multiple priorities and approaches to meet objectives
  • Effective and excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer system user level skills required (Primavera, SAP, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

Desired Characteristics :

  • Master's degree in Engineering / MBA
  • PMP Certification will be a plus
