Job Description Summary

As related customer equipment, faciliaties or infrastructure projects: responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage service projects all around the world as a part of GE Grid Solutions
  • Primary interface to customer and partners for all official communication
  • Launch the contract, executing critical analysis of scope, financials, schedule, planning and all milestones related to the project
  • Indirectly manages assigned personnel for Project
  • Build, control and follow-up the quality control programs, project reviews in SAP, project schedule and planning according to GE Project Management Instructions until the end of the warranty period
  • Plan, supervise, and control the project activities to maximize the Q/C/D achievements and thus satisfy the Customer.
  • Maintain and improve equipments and processes to maximize and permanently increase project implementation and quality
  • Create, develop and maintain business relations and effective communication with customers, subcontractors, sub-suppliers and consultants
  • Define and supervise project reporting in order to drive the continuous improvement of the processes Anticipate risks before the fire starts and take necessary mitigations into life
  • Control procurement and logistic
  • Support to unit sourcing for critical needs of the projects

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineer or similar from an accredited university
  • Strong verbal and written skills in English
  • Strong understanding of contractual terms and conditions, primarily experience in contract management
  • Min. 3-4 years of experience in project management
  • Previous project management experience in GRID HV System service business or similar environment
  • Proficiency in office IT suite (excel, word and PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of SAP - PS Module

  • Effective problem identification and solution skills
  • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
  • Customer oriented and able to operate effectively in a high-pressure environment and pressing customer deadlines
  • Ability to build strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customer
  • Enthusiastic, with a drive for results
