Job Description

Essential General Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects in accordance with PMI best practices and industry standards, ensuring comprehensive technical and commercial follow-up from transfer/kickoff to closure.
  • Develop, monitor, and adjust project schedules to ensure on-time delivery, anticipating and mitigating potential delays.
  • Oversee all financial aspects of projects, including sales, margins, invoicing, and cash collection, ensuring financial health and compliance.
  • Maintain effective and proactive communication across all departments, facilitating coordination and driving actions and recovery plans as needed.
  • Actively engage with customers, partners, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless project execution and success..
  • Manage scope and change claims meticulously, ensuring alignment with project objectives and adherence to contractual agreements.
  • Identify, assess, and report risks and opportunities promptly, implementing mitigation strategies accordingly.
  • Identify and manage internal and external customers, consortium, contractors, and other stakeholders' obligations.
  • Fulfill contractual obligations and milestones to avoid/minimize liquidated damages.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage on-time preparation and submission of customer documentation and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Ensure data quality in Project Execution tools.
  • Lead the preparation and delivery of internal and external project progress reports and review presentations, ensuring transparency and stakeholder engagement.
  • Adhere to company and local EHS policies, demonstrating exemplary behavior and collaborating with the EHS team to prevent accidents, incidents, and environmental damage.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or Business.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in the energy sector.
  • Strong market and business understanding with experience in strategy building.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in Spanish / Advanced in English.
  • Lean methodology knowledge.
  • PMP certification is a key differentiator.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Highly capable of working effectively under tight deadlines, managing time efficiently, and prioritizing tasks to meet critical objectives
