Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute quality control plans, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Lead the application and maintenance of the QMS system in accordance with GE Vernova and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues, ensuring product and process compliance.
- Train and mentor team members on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Demonstrate a Quality mindset as a personal and business priority to foster a quality culture at all levels of the business.
- Conduct audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of the QMS, recommending improvements as needed.
- Develop and deliver training programs to promote quality awareness and best practices within the organization.
- Analyze quality metrics and data to identify trends and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external audits and regulatory inspections.
- Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address customer complaints and non-conformances.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance processes within manufacturing, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. OR
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing leadership with a focus on Quality Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma).
- Proven experience in leading quality improvement projects and initiatives.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities, with the capability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., CQE, CQA, Six Sigma) is preferred.
- The salary range for this position is $81,700.00 - $136,700.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this role has variable compensation incentive of 10% .
