Budgeting:

Budget OP for Global R&D

IFV :

Asia Large/ Service Projects and EMEA Service projects IFV preparation and implementation in reporting systems

Supporting PEM with HPR0 engineering budget set-up for - Asia Large/ Service Projects

TCS clarification & reconciliation support with EQT

Supporting in getting correct current as-sold & HPR0 budget in Grid fusion

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Controlling:

    WW R&D monthly and quarterly closing :
  • Ensuring the correct allocation of costs for the following costs buckets: Liquidation, C&B, External expenses, training, facilities, depreciation, purchase services, Funding. Reviewing the nature of the costs, the function of the costs, and the category of the costs (BVP)
  • Driving the corrections through other team members (inside and outside ENG finance team)
  • Proactively highlighting issues to FP&A/base costs/finance management to ensure collective resolution, avoiding waste of time and disconnects
  • Reviewing Royalty/ NPI charges before cross charge invoicing to other regions
  • Calculating accruals in particular for funding/ CIR tax credit
  • Ensuring that R&D finance target is met in compliance with financial policies
  • WW R&D quarterly pacing and monthly reporting:
  • Performing monthly update on R&O for the quarter landing to FP&A teams
  • Participating in the monthly project review with ENG staff (COE & ENG management), proactively highlighting issues and pushing for resolution
  • Preparing and presenting the monthly reporting of R&D pacing to engineering & finance management

ENG projects 606 monthly pacing:

  • Implementing the needed adjustments in Gridfusion & model test CTC for ASIA & EMEA Service projects
  • Supporting engineers/PEM to respect the commitments on the quarter budgets
  • Ensuring that Storms is updated timely by PEM/COE leaders and reflects the best estimate

Audit:

  • Addressing audit requests on Asia R&D topics and EMEA service project costs
  • Solving any other ad hoc requests related to audit

Continuous improvement:

Supporting/leading/proposing improvements on financial information systems:

  • Gridfusion/PMX/KEOPS/Storms
  • ENG finance and R&D Topics:

    Projects PMR:
  • Providing resolution in Gridfusion issues
  • Ensuring that processes are always followed by team members and provide guidelines when needed

R&D:

  • BVP analysis in closing and correction entries
  • Answering any other ad hoc requests

GERT:

  • Providing support in handling any issues for GERT invoices if needed

Required Qualifications

  • For roles outside of the USA- This role requires basic experience in the Finance & Manufacturing Operations. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
  • For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
