Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create definitions of parts, modules, and assemblies in the form of 2D cross sections, 3D models, tolerance stack-ups, and various electronic data formats to support analysis, manufacturing, assembly, tooling, and inspection
- Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
- In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
- Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
- Identify execution risk and provide clear communication including proposed solutions to stakeholders. Resolve issues proactively where possible.
- Foster a culture of ownership and accountability within the team
- A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or an early people leader who can hire and develop talent. Provides informal guidance to new team members
- Function on a global scale consistently, working in partnership with the product definition team members located at global design centers

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
- Minimum 4 years of relevant engineering experience
Desired Characteristics
- Horizontal partnering relationship building skills
- Expertise with NX CAD & PGPLM tools
- Demonstrated experience with model based enterprise & application of PMI to 3D models
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Established project management skills.
About Us
For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $85,600-$142,600 USD Annual.
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a Variable Incentive (VIC) Bonus of 10%.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
