Roles and Responsibilities
Proposals Management
- Technical Analysis of customer needs/RFQ to define and offer Products/Solutions: 1. Telecom range of products including MPLS-TP/SDH-PDH Optical, Power Line Carrier and Radio Wireless solutions. Ability to prepare proposal preliminary design/drawing for integrated telecom network utilizing different equipment. 2. Assets Performance Management (APM) and M&D (Measuring & Diagnostics) concept knowing will be a value add. 3. Protection (MiCOM & Multilin) & Substation DCS (DS Agile/AAA) will be a value add
- Ensure Complaint offer to th technical specifications in accordance with tender requirement
- Identify & Flag Key Risks and ensure the mitigation plan in Risk & Opportunity register
- Managing & Implementation of the Return of Experience (ROE)
- Ensure proposals are in accordance with commercial and execution strategies, meeting Yearly Order Intake Targets
- Ensure technical Derogation and approvals intact, if applicable for finalizing the technical solution
- Ensure completion of site assessments (site visit/review) for Brownfield/Existing Substations & site
- Maintaining the Typical circuits /schemes /solution in Tendering Tool to facilitate future offerings
- Ensure the respect of technical and commercial offers time schedule to serve sales force in due time maintaining improvised quality level of bids
- Review and respond to Technical Clarifications of bid and presenting the solution to the customer
- Support order booking as per signed contract/PO, ensure budget margins & drive an improved Operations turnover process
- Support the Sales team in commercial and technical meetings/negotiations with customers

Bidding Process Compliance
- Ensure the complete bid management phases (inclusive of proper risk assessments) to ensure compliance to Company's policy & Instructions (From the receipt of enquiry from the customer till the order)
- Ensure conducting different tender reviews internally with all stakeholders for having proper validations as per in context to the targeted tender due dates
- Conduct Transfer Meeting and hand over relevant documents to operations team
Costing and Pricing Analysis
- Review and maintain tendering hit rate (Submission %age and win rate with quality bids)
- Responsible for review and analysis of cost and price preparation & calculations
- Responsible for having formal quotes of third-party products/systems and updating in Tendering tool in line with sourcing
- Responsible for ensuring correct costing in
- Estimation tool in accordance with latest updates
- Cost optimization & risk analysis: Challenge product/solution costs and delivery costs in tenders
- Commercial/ Technical win loss Analysis of Bids
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering or equivalent
- French/Arabic acquaintance would be a preference
- Min. 2-3 years' experience in tendering/commercial function, competitive fresh graduates will be encouraged to apply as well
- Knowledge and understanding of Grid Automation Business, elecom knowledge will be a real differentiator
- Understanding of commercial contracting guidelines will be a plus
- Understanding and knowledge of MENAT customer requirements and specifications will be a plus
