What impact you'll make?
As a member of the Configuration Management team, you will enable the operation of the Gas Power Services Parts business through setting up and maintaining the engineering related part attributes in the ERPs based on the information in the engineering database of PLM and feedback received from the Parts organization.

What you'll do
- Set up the main attributes of the part numbers in Oracle ERP through the templating process which defines the product in ERP
- Maintain the Item Master database in Oracle ERP from engineering perspective
- Support the Change Implementation process by modifying the setup of the part numbers in Oracle ERP based on the output from PLM
- Participate in the Change Control process in PLM for both GE Vernova-owned and Vendor Part Numbers
- Support the functions utilizing Oracle ERP (Material Management, Sourcing, Finance, other Engineering teams, IT, process excellence team, etc.) in ad hoc requests and projects related to the Item Master
- Support the testing of new Oracle ERP revisions from Item Master point of view
- Proactively enhance the overall data quality of the Item Master database in Oracle ERP
What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- Technical University or Collage Degree / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Must be able to read drawings and have familiarity with Bill of Material structures
- Must be proficient in Writing/Speaking/Reading in English
- Ability to work in a matrix environment
- Pro-active approach to problem solving
- Detail-oriented and organized team player with strong sense of ownership
- Ability to quickly and effectively learn business operating systems
