Controls Intern must demonstrate strong fundamentals in Controls theory (Classic and Advanced)- Classic PID to Model Based Controls, Field Instrumentation- Transmitters, Control Valves etc, Basic PLC Programming. Individuals who are curious to learn and grow.
The individual should have clear concepts, able to co-relate theory with practical applications in Industry- Power/ Oil&Gas/Turbo Machinery
Control Intern will work on certain assignments related to Control Systems, time bound and crucial for Business.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Work effectively on an assigned project(s) within Steam Power.
- Work closely with the design/projects/engineering community to identify business needs, define problem statements, & develop functional specifications and support Application software development in PLC/ DCS Platforms
- Work closely with an identified mentor on an allocated project, undergo periodic reviews with clear presentations and reports
- Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with organization policies and procedures.

Qualification:
Master's in Instrumentation and Controls Engineering/ Electrical and Instrumentation with Bachelors in Equivalent Disciplines
Requirement:
Candidates passing out in 2024-2025 who are available for a full time (in-office) internship for minimum six months.
Desired Skills and Competencies:
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong Analytical Skills and Matlab ( Equivalent Simulation Platforms) Coding knowledge, Modelling Concepts on 1st Principles
- Thorough with Instrumentation/ Control Valves, deep knowledge on Controls Theory and basic PLC Programming Skills
- Understanding and conceptualizing the design to identify available degrees of freedom to apply Controls. Developing complex Transfer functions/ Logics to co-relate various variables which can be realized in form of Algorithm. Model development and validation
