Job Description
The HRSG Systems Integration Engineer (SIE) will assist the HRSG Systems Integration Leader whose charter is to deliver high quality HRSG engineering designs that meet the projects performance, cycle, cost targets (CTQ) and deliver them on-time and within budget. The SIE will lead a team across multiple global locations - Schenectady, Windsor, Changwon, Delhi. The team will be responsible for execution metrics, including on-time delivery, and quality, for GPS new unit, Service and NPI Programs.

Primary responsibilities:
The SIE will work closely with internal and external partners, creating and implementing a strategic project execution vision, setting the stage for project execution success, and managing personnel. In addition, they will:
- Own the lead role in delivering high-quality HRSG engineering designs that meet performance, cycle, & cost targets and delivering them on-time and within budget
- Lead prioritization of requisition resources across multiple teams.
- Organize and lead design teams, and people from other groups, to drive execution
- Manage all types of projects including new units, aftermarket, and special projects, from OTR release through drawing execution.
- Be responsible for the output of the team through all project phases; drive progress and decisions with urgency.
- Track, monitor and drive project progress relative to technical and budget plans; identify and implement corrective action when required (working with Operations team)
- Support resource planning, allocation and budgeting of projects led by team
- Support proposals, queries on ability to handle new projects, and what-if scenario studies
- Work closely with COE leaders to ensure smooth transition of design rules, documentation and automation tools which will be used for design projects
- Drive a collaborative mindset and a commitment culture
- Drive continuous improvement and increasing productivity working closely with initiative leaders
- Work closely with HRSG COE leaders to create a flexible, efficient system whereby engineering resources can be shared and reallocated as/when necessary to ensure the objectives of HRSG and the business are met
Required Qualifications
- For roles outside of the USA- This role requires advanced experience in the Engineering/Technology & Mechanical Component. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
- For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).

- Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.

The base pay range for this position is 98,400.00 - 164,000.00 USD Annual . The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 10% bonus.
