Includes individuals who oversee digital portals and platforms in support of the digital strategies, and those who lead Process & Tool teams, and/or the operations for such teams. The individuals may be responsible for market research, product & process design/development/governance, policies & standards, product forecasting/budgeting, delivery model selection, make vs buy decisions, tool selection, business continuity plan, RPA, and metrics. Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.

Job Description

The HR Case Management Leader is responsible for ensuring GE Vernova delivers an intuitive, user-friendly employee experience when users leverage Service Cloud (as the core case management system) and other related HR tools seeking HR support. This role will support the Channel Strategy Leader in solving business / user challenges across the available contact channels, using data analysis and direct feedback to simplify tool landscape, processes and services.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Own the strategy for the overall simplification and improvement of Oracle Service Cloud and associated processes, closely partnered with the technical lead and development team.
  • Ensure existing tools and platforms deliver value to GE Vernova by enabling new and enhanced functionalities, whilst optimizing on efficiencies. Advocate for simplicity and standardization across the case management systems & tools.
  • Leverage data and user feedback to ensure a consistent & frictionless user experience for employees when connecting with People Operations whilst leveraging the case management tools & processes.
  • Through a strong partnership with the Global Service Strategy CoE, enable a globally standard solution. Leverage functional knowledge to influence and provide domain expertise in design planning.
  • Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting at various levels of the organization, including leadership and executives, ensuring the impact of key changes on the employee experience are clearly understood.
  • Own the development of plans to mitigate negative impacts & drive change.
  • Provide thought leadership to stay ahead of new technologies and tools in the space, ensuring GE Vernova is leveraging the most appropriate technologies to deliver excellent employee experience, including leveraging AI & automation where appropriate.
  • Own the relationship with Digital Technology partners and external vendors for key technologies in this domain.
  • Own and manage the relationships with our 3rd party platform providers, ensuring service delivery & system performance standards are being met and issues resolved.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelors Degree in related field with 3 years of experience preferred
  • Understanding of centred/hubbed HR Service Delivery and/or People Operations model
  • Strong leadership experience/skills with ability to influence outcomes
  • Self-starter - requires minimal instruction to accomplish goals
  • Active interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and/or industry activities
  • Strong team player - collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources
  • Experience of working with others on a global basis
  • Demonstrated customer focus - evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer, builds strong customer relationships, creates processes with customer viewpoint and partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives
  • Strong analytical and strong problem-solving skills - communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve, creates actionable strategies and operational plans
  • Change oriented - actively generates process improvements, champions and drives change initiatives, confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly
  • Proven ability in influencing senior stakeholders & making recommendations to drive decision making.
  • Proven ability to prioritize business needs, change requests and other initiatives

Desired Skills:

  • Understanding of Oracle Service Cloud and/or other case management systems
  • Data Analytics and/or Reporting design capabilities
  • LEAN mindset and/or practices LEAN methodologies
  • People Leader / People Management background

If contracted in the US:

The base pay range for this position is $105,800.00 - $150,00.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus. This posting is expected to close on 8/30/2024.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
