Job Description

The Head of Sales - Test & H2-Microgrids (m/w/d) will be responsible to develop strategies to grow the Power Conversion business sales and market share in the region. In this role you will be head of sales for the specific segment within the region with the following responsibilities:

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for meeting quarterly & yearly order in-take, as sold Contribution Margin (CM) and Down Payment (DP) targets for the Germany/CEER P&L
  • Develop and own sales strategy, identify opportunities to drive business growth in the Germany/CEER Test & H2-Microgrids market
  • Responsible for all Sales KPI's - Pipeline generations, conversion rates, win-loss analysis, early pipeline development etc.
  • Responsible for the overall leadership and day-to-day management of the entire sales force and process, lead and motivate teams of sales professionals to so-licit new and penetrate existing business in order to drive growth and market share
  • Be responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships within GE or with external stakeholders, own the business relationship with assigned customers at all levels
  • Understand the big picture of customers and their projects, dig out customers' pain points and CTQs, working with teams to develop GE and its partners specific value solutions for the customers
  • Understand and analyze market dynamics to recommend product strategy to leadership team
  • Actively act as a Sales Manager for key clients and on strategic projects with ability to close complex deals

Your qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, Master's degree is a plus
  • Leadership experience is a plus
  • At least 8 additional years of experience in sales or related function or strategic planning
  • Open to learn and open to change, demonstrate the willingness to walk out from its comfort zone
  • Fluent in both English and German
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Test & H2-Microgrids industry regional market
  • Proven commercial and sales experiences in closing complex systems deals
  • Strong communication skills and proven ability to effectively lead multi-functional teams
  • High proficiency in utilizing analytical software and sales tools (SFDC, Excel, etc.)
  • Solutions thinker with a lean mindset, striving for continuous improvement
