Job Description
In this role you will be responsible for competency & associated curriculum development, execution and management for the Gas Power Heavy Duty New Units Project Management Execution teams in close partnership with the Global HR Partner of the organization. In addition to that, you will be responsible for continuous improvements, system/tool, process, communication and training for learning and development.

- Shape and own strategy for learning & development for Project Execution organization
- Define and lead the Project Management Competency Development Program in close co-operation with Project Execution management and Human Resources
- Analyze capability gaps and learning needs in partnership with the leadership team and define, develop and execute associated curriculum (leveraging existing learning offerings as well as defining new ones, updates learning catalogue on GEV learning platforms or HDGT available platforms)
- Identify programs and opportunities that promotes horizontal capability development and career progression.
- Be a champion of change. Lead & drive change management to evolve the culture and behaviors necessary to become more contemporary talent developers. By leveraging a Lean approach, consistently seek higher levels of adoption and effective use of programs and processes.
- Monitor defined learning & development related KPIs
- Responsible for maintaining any associated Gas Power PM qualification or training programs. (ex. PMP certification)
- Develop and own global onboarding strategies
- Own process trainings and communication related to Learning & development
- Update QMS documents in collaboration with the Quality team
- Collaborate with PMLP Program Manager to ensure PMLP development is aligned to expected capability outcomes
- Foster on-time learning culture within the organization
- Define and maintain a competency tool with following capabilities: competency assessment, monitoring progress and associated gap closing results, dashboard for leadership visibility.
- Benchmark and leverage existing tools within GEV and analyze organization needs
- Work with IT department or external vendors on development solutions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with advanced experience in a Project Management or sub-division of Project Management, Training/Learning programs or Resource Management role preferred
- Advances experience in managing and developing employees in a global environment
- Ability to independently lead/navigate and influence the relevant stakeholders in a complex, matrix organization to drive learning development
- Self-starter, result-driven, clear thinker professional with an ability to focus on the "critical few" issue/priorities to problem solve. Able to communicate messages clearly and concisely. Ability to translate strategy into business objectives
- Excellent English communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including EB+), functions and Poles delivering clear messages to influence teams to achieve the expected results on change management and organizational transformation
- Flexible attitude to adapt to different time zone
- Creative thinker and confidence to share new ideas
- Great Analytical skills and clear thinker
Desired Qualifications
- PMP certified
- Lean certificate, Six Sigma Master Black Belt or Black Belt Certified
- Understanding of business and project financials (orders, sales, CM, OM, Pacing, Margin Review, Cash) Successful track record of implementation of wing-to-wing process improvement initiatives (from strategy to full deployment, including related documentation)
- Strong analytical skills including management of KPIs and reporting experience
- Good understanding of key systems used by Project Execution team
About Us
For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $114,100-$190,200 USD Annually.
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a Variable Incentive (VIC) bonus of 15%.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
