HA Solutioning Engineering Leader - Asia

The Asia Regional Application engineering team is looking out for great talent to help grow the pipeline and secure after-market growth for the HA platform for Asia.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Review the current HA installed base and identify opportunities across parts and services that are outcome of RCA / CAPA recommendations, partner with sales and commercial teams on customer engagement, creating customer value / solution proposition, lead technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders on HA solutioning.
• Engage with commercial, HQ Product Line, Systems Engg and other teams on HA fleet status, sharing regional VOC to global teams, and share global learnings on the fleet with regional teams, driving proactiveness and growth options.
• Partner across with CSE / Product Services / M&D and other regional Engg teams, including New Units to stay abreast on HA issues, solutions for the fleet.
• Coach and partner RAEs, COE teams in HDS on HA related issues, technical offerings, offer guidance on TAGs. Own and take up proposal generation and R1Solutioning accordingly.
• On need basis, take up sub regional / country(s) ownership across Installed base / other fleets, managing team loading.
• Possesses a strong understanding of relevant markets and customer economic value that aid winning bid strategies. • Collaborates with design COE teams to develop an understanding of plant, system and equipment performance and efficiency post-upgrade.
• Demonstrates high degree of understanding of key business drivers and how they are used to support proposal generation. Good understanding of how to work with the larger Applications teams and how to integrate with other teams in a matrixed organization to contribute to the needs of the business.
• Demonstrates autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework and lead other Individual Contributors.
• The role is responsible for Asia HA growth, it is expected to have appropriate travel across the pole, engaging with customers across Asia.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering,
• Significant experience in engineering comparable to a Master's degree in the related Mechanical field.
• Knowledge of Gas Turbine products specifically HA Technology is critical.
• Performance knowledge and operating tools such as GTP
• Exposure to HA fleet issues, mitigation plans is desired.
• Knowledge of Application Engg process, ITO / OTR / RAE / RCAE experience will be valued.
• This is a local hire position, and relocation assistance is not provided

• 10-15 years of domain expertise experience in GE turbogenerators
• Able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
