Join GE Vernova's Electrification Software to drive Services Transformation in our Grid Software Business unit. Grid Orchestration Software (GridOS) is the first software portfolio designed specifically for grid orchestration to enable utilities to navigate the complexity that comes with the sustainable energy grid. GridOS is to play a very significant role in Energy transition, Grid modernization and protecting the Grid from Cyber attacks.
In this role, you will closely partner with SVP Services Delivery and his staff to deliver double digit Revenue growth, expand gross margin through a combination of growth and productivity initiatives, enhance risk review framework to forecast project risks, develop demand forecast of backlog, strengthen process foundation and improve processes, enable headcount forecast, and drive cash.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Drive business excellence: Business partnership with SVP Service delivery and team to define long term Services growth strategy in portfolio and Regions, translate into annual operating plan and hold the teams accountable to deliver outcome.
- Accountability to on time delivery with quality: Hold the delivery teams and system integrators (i.e., Partners) accountable to deliver Services performance obligations timely and with right quality per SLA defined.
- Governance on future Orders: Develop process and governance model to seek price bid on delivery obligations on opportunities to be pursued.
- Resource Location Management: Partner with HR, Service Delivery leadership and system integrator to optimize best cost mix of resources.
- Projects forecast and Risk management: Partner with Controllership team, Project Managers and Project Controllers to review, and forecast project risks, develop mitigation plans.
- Services processes and improvement: Partner with SVP of Services to improve the foundation of Services and Services Finance and resolve gaps in the current process i.e. forecasting demand for labor hours, headcount needs, getting to healthy contracts before contracting or renegotiation of existing contracts etc., to improve revenue and gross margin. Leverage BI and Reporting CoE and IT organizations to define and transform data approach and analytics enabling faster and better decision-making process.
- Orchestrate Product, Commercial and Services coordination: Partner with Product Finance Leader to deliver product commitments on time, avoid liquidated damages and eliminate revenue leakage.
- Promote Lean as practice: Coach the services and Service Finance tams to improve daily management, standard work, and problem solving. Enable continuous improvement culture across the organization.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of 5 direct reports representing regions of Grid SW Global and closely work with India based FP&A CoE to drive tactical operations, develop analytics and lead to decision support.
- Oversee Project Control Operations: Provide leadership to ~40 Project Control Analysts and planners to ensure Order entry, project set up, project budget monitoring, on time billing and collections.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance / accounting or equivalent
- Minimum of 8 years of Operational Finance experience including CMR and 606 Accounting
Additional Qualifications
- Demonstrated team leadership ability.
- CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and influencing skills in a matrix organization.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues.
- Ability to work with remote and cross functional/cultural teams.
- Established analytical, project management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
Desired Characteristics
- Working knowledge of SAP (Fusion), Oracle Fusion and Hyperion Financial Management System (HFM).
- Financial Control experience in a public company.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and to prioritize effectively.
