As a Goods-In Supervisor, you'll play a key role in managing and overseeing a team of operatives to ensure materials are received, accounted for, and securely stored. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking team in a fast-paced environment, driving process improvements and contributing to renewable energy projects.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Material Handling: Oversee the unloading, receiving, and secure storage of materials, ensuring all goods are documented in SAP within 24 hours.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure accurate material movement using First In, First Out (FIFO) principles and maintain cycle counts and stock checks in line with KPls.
  • Team Leadership: Train, manage, and develop the logistics team, ensuring skills are up-to-date through continuous coaching and development.
  • Process Improvement: Lead process reviews, implement risk assessments, and support the continuous improvement of operations within the storage area.
  • Operational Support: Ensure timely line-side feeds for production, manage consumable material replenishments, and support outbound material shipments.
  • Compliance and Safety: Maintain adherence to EHS policies, ensuring safe working practices across the storage area and delivery bays.
  • Reporting and KPI Management: Track and analyse data to propose improvements, contributing to overall business performance.
