GE Vernova offers variety of internships in different engineering teams across Engineering Innovation Center located in Warsaw, Poland. Internship involves wide range of engineering day to day activities in field of Gas Turbine Engineering. Those activities cover various components throughout their full lifecycle, from conceptual design through manufacturing, service up to analysis of their in-field reliability. Engineering spirit and creativity are key factors for a successful projects fulfillment. Depending on applicant's range of competences and/or preferred career path students recruitment is open in following areas:

- Hot Gas Path Mechanical Engineer
(NX, Ansys Workbench and knowledge of GD&T)
- Pillar Eng Tools (PET) Engineer
(Knowledge of .NET and C# Environment, Proficiency in Visual Studio, Familiarity with CAD System - NX Preferred)
- Systems Integration Engineer
(Project Management, Document management (Excel, Power point, MS Project or similar), Turbomachinery knowledge, Power engineering)
- NPI/Containment - Mechanical Engineer
(NX, SolidWorks or SolidEdge, basics of mechanical engineering, technical writing)
- NPI/Containment - Electrical Engineer
(NX, SolidWorks or SolidEdge, EPlan, AutoCAD, basics of electrical engineering, technical writing)
- Reliability Engineer
(Reliability knowledge, gas turbine knowledge, SQL basics)
- Reliability / Data Processing & Data Science / Service Optimization Engineer
(Python, SQL, basics of mechanical engineering, preferably 6 semesters completed)
- Lean Engineer
(NX, 3D Printing basics, Lean knowledge, 5S)
- Materials & Processes Engineer
(Skills in metallographic microscopy, knowledge in materials science - steels and superalloys, min 6 semesters completed)
- FEM Simulations Engineer (GTE Structures Team)
(Workbench/Ansys APDL basic simulations skills, basic mechanical design understanding, NX)
Requirements:
- Communicative Level of English
- Studying at Engineering Faculty - current students or graduates
Will be a plus:
- Basic knowledge about gas turbines/power engineering
- Fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering/Strength of Materials
- Primary knowledge of mechanical drawing
- CAD systems knowledge
- Programming skills
