As a leader in the GE Vernova FP&A team, you will be an active contributor to the value creation of GE Vernova through financial planning, forecasting, operational partnerships, and analytical reporting to deliver financial commitments. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of the financial statements and its components, experience with financial tools, experience with variance analysis, collaborative nature, and great attention to detail.

  • Provide technical financial & systems leadership in planning, directing, and integrating all aspects of GE Vernova budgeting, reporting, and analyzing of activities.
  • Lead ongoing closing, reporting, and analysis for total company FP&A.
  • Own Financial Planning inputs into external Management Discussion & Analysis and investor relation events.
  • Drive preparation of management reports and presentations related to total company forecasts and results.
  • Direct continuous improvement initiatives of processes improving accuracy, cycle time, and quality.
  • Support key cycles: business operating reviews, company strategy sessions, and board material.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and drive insights to enhance outcomes.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and decision-making processes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in financial management and analysis.

What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience and progressive responsibility in FP&A, Controllership, or other Finance fields

  • Ability to manage budgets, track actual performances against forecasts, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, and the ability to interpret and communicate financial results, then align with overall business strategy and contribute to decision making.
  • Experience leading a team
  • Proficiency in building complex financial models to analyze business performance, forecast future trends and evaluate risks & opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Initiative-taking with a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge in a series of tools: Hyperion, Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), Workiva, Tableau

The base pay range for this position is $250,000-$300,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a performance 35% bonus & equity. This posting is expected to remain open until at least Tuesday, October 1st.
