Job Description Summary
The Fleet Solutions Program & Operational Manager is responsible for project management of field quality issues and monitoring of operational rigor that maintain and improve the effectiveness of the Global Fleet Solutions team.
In this role you will be expected to manage mainly non-critical programs while also facilitating involvement at all levels in continuous improvement activities. This is a global role and may include up to 25% travel, including international travel.

- Program management of field resolution issues for GE Vernova Onshore Wind that comprises implementation of field solutions for pre-identified quality issues.

- Apply project management methodologies and standards including scheduling and control, to fulfill a customer order or need according to financial/commercial parameters and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Manage the cost of quality as well cost benefit analysis (CBA).
- Lead and coordinate teams to manage execution and achieve field quality issue resolution.
- Establish and maintain performance metrics to measure program success.
- Manage clear and consistent communications for internal and external customers including providing progress updates to leadership.
- In addition to program managing implementation of solutions for field quality issues, monitor and improve organizational processes with the aim of making them as efficient as possible.
- Map out workflows as needed, identify waste and low-value activities, and recommend solutions guided by formal lean principles and methodologies.

- Holds regular touch points with Global Fleet Solutions leader and Regional TLs as needed.
- Uses technical experience and analytical thinking.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and work effectively with virtual, global, remote teams
- Strong field and customer mind-set
- 5+ years experience in wind is a plus
Desired Characteristics
- Wind experience
- Lean Six Sigma certification/ experience in lean
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
- Established project management skills
- Ability to drive change and implement new processes
