As a member of the Industrialization Team, you will be an active contributor to the factory capacity ramp as well as driving quality into our fixtures.

Job Description

What you'll do

  • Develop and update NX CAD models and drawings for complex fixtures, tools, jigs, gages, assembly tooling, production aids, 3D printing, etc. in a machine shop environment focusing on work holding for mills, lathes, grinders, EDMs, etc.
  • Apply your knowledge of GD&T best practices to ensure designs are accurate and manufacturable
  • Provide tactical support to the tool room for fixture builds and revisions
  • Build quality into fixtures, jigs, etc.
  • Help develop, maintain, and follow standard work for fixture designs
  • Contribute to design reviews and problem-solving discussions while offering innovative solutions and driving positive change
  • Work effectively in a fast paced environment while embracing and driving positive change inside and outside of the organization as appropriate
  • Collaborate effectively within a matrixed organization, providing clear communication and working effectively on a team or independently

What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Machine Tool Technology, or Drafting (or high school diploma/GED with 2 years of manufacturing experience)
  • 1 year minimum experience using Siemens NX (12 or higher) for modeling and drafting of work holding design in a machine shop environment
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite of Software (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

What will make you stand out

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Machine Tool Technology, or Drafting
  • Experience with Power Generation or Aerospace products and materials
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Above average shop math skills in geometry and trigonometry
  • Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatic systems, including sequencing, as it relates to work holding or similar applications
  • Understanding metal fabrication and welding processes
  • Experience with PLM systems
  • Self-motivated and self-driven proven project leadership
  • You are someone who brings attention to detail and accuracy in all of your work

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $74,800- $93,500 USD Annual.

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This Lead Professional Band position is also eligible for a 5% performance bonus.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
