Job Description Summary

As a member of the Nuclear & Industrial Services organization, you will be an active contributor in the Parts Finance Team and responsible for financial analysis, process simplification, and operational excellence of accurate financial reporting in the high-volume parts business.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Individual & Team contributor with proven interpersonal skills. Communicate directly with colleagues in Fulfillment and Collections
  • Weekly management and maintenance of Parts Invoice Distribution Batches and Disbursement of invoice for 4 segments of the business.
  • Update customer master, billing addresses, set up customers for auto email and monitor activity on new customers
  • Work with collections to understand issues leading to customer non-payment, past dues and work to understand the root cause, resolve existing and future issues, collaborate with collection teams
  • Sales Tax - manage uploads and updates of customer sales tax exemption forms in DECM and Sabrix
  • Manage Sales Order tax credits
  • Manage Freight file and cost allocations
  • Quarterly Account Reconciliation
  • Monthly Analysis of Sales Orders - Revenue, Margin, Backlog, Production Orders
  • Document procedures for assigned areas of responsibility
  • Utilizes technical expertise and judgement to solve problems. Leverages technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with relevantexperience in a finance role)
  • Relevant experience with financial system, accounting, or controllership
  • In depth knowledge of SAP / OneSteam

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively across multiple functions
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, self-starter
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization and ability to react to emerging priorities
  • Strong organizational skills - ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in Project Controlling and practical experience with ASC606 Revenue Recognition Standards
  • Prioritization skills: proven ability to prioritize effectively and drive performance of the organization
