Job Description Summary
The Field Service Engineer under general guidance and minimal supervision, performs a wide range of engineering tasks and ensures proper installation, service and commissioning of products and services. Provides technical support for installation and commissioning of projects and provides maintenance, breakdown emergency support and remote troubleshooting.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform installation and commissioning activities at customer site locations.
- Perform troubleshooting activities at site locations to diagnose problems, determine appropriate resolution, and implements corrective actions
- Performs a wide range of engineering tasks to ensure the technical integrity and proper installation and commissioning of our equipment.
- Develop documentation to execute work such as commissioning and maintenance procedures, as well as execute customer training.
- Identify sales opportunities for service agreements, spare parts, training, and upgrades.
- Provide on call support in response to customer calls for service.
- Assist in the growth and direction of the North American business.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university (or Associate's Degree or related discipline from an accredited college or university with a minimum 2 additional years of related industry experience)
- Minimum 1 years of field service and/or commissioning experience
Eligibility Requirements:
- Ability and willingness to travel 85% of the time on short notice
- US Citizen with the ability to achieve security clearance for Department of Defense projects.
- Must be physically fit to be able to board vessels offshore.
- For field service engineers that have the potential of working offshore, must be able to pass a Helicopter Underwater Egress Training (HUET) and offshore survival course which includes activities in a swimming pool.

- Ability to execute increasingly complicated assignments, which require considerable engineering skill and creative ability and independent judgment.
- Strong computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Office applications.
