Essential Responsibilities
- Execute the mission of GE Vernova with LATAM focus, build strong stakeholder relationships Inform GEV constituents, including GEV corporate leadership regionally and globally, and GE business leaders, of macroeconomic policy and regulatory trends and developments, and coordinate with those constituents on the development and execution of GEV's Government Engagement agenda to protect and secure business growth.
- Partner with GEV businesses to develop and facilitate the execution of the business strategy in LATAM, and provide international market intelligence to the businesses.
- Support GE Businesses to secure/improve market access leveraging expertise with government institutions and government decision-making procedures.
- Share best practices, identify government subsidies and initiatives that could be beneficial to GEV and its businesses.
- Identify and inform GEV businesses about governmental (commercial/procurement) opportunities.
- Monitor public policy and provide timely geopolitical analysis.
- Keep a close partnership with dedicated Corporate functional leaders for GEV.
- Support sales to governments by helping sales teams tailor GEV bids to government needs, marshalling government support and advocacy for GEV bids, and utilizing government financing.
- Provide expert advice on the workings of the government institutions and decision-making procedures and changes in government players.

Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferably or equivalent knowledge or experience in economics, law, political science, or public policy.
- Significant professional experience in working on government affairs matters in the LATAM, including significant relevant experience with a government, global corporation and/or with an international law or consultancy firm.
- Deep knowledge of international government affairs, regulations, policies, funding programs, and priorities.
- Strong understanding of the decision-making process and procedures, and strong relationships with government officials and influencers.
- Demonstrated ability to think and lead on a strategic level within a complex organization.
- Previous experience in transactional support and funding programs would be a significant advantage.
- Fluency in relevant native language(s) and English is required.
