In this position you will receive, check, tally, store, accumulate, procure, disburse, expedite, move and transport a variety of shop supplies, tools and production materials. Perform lower rated work as required. Unload and prepare parts/product for shipment. Move material/product using cranes (level 2) and other approved material movement equipment to perform work tasks. Provide on-the-job training to other personnel as needed. Complete other daily housekeeping functions including 5s and parts kitting
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Working from written and verbal instructions from supervision, computer terminals, production schedules and paperwork, accepted shop practices.
- Receive, check, tally, store, accumulate, procure, disburse, expedite, move and transport a variety of shop supplies, tools and production materials.
- Accumulate materials, load, move, transport, and unload using cranes, lifting devices, automotive and industrial vehicles, etc.
- Perform turnovers, spotting and positioning of materials as required.
- Locate, accumulate, weigh, check and sign off materials per drawing numbers, correct quantities and apply identification tags.
- Enclose all items per domestic or export shipping requirements.
- Maintain inventory and notify supervision of shortages, damaged items, etc.
- Secure parts to cars or skids by blocking, bolting, bracing, nailing, banding, etc.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
Desired Characteristics:
- 1 years of work experience
- Prior forklift experience
- Prior experience in Shipping & Receiving
The pay for this position is $25.97. This position is also eligible for progression pay. The top rate for this position is $29.19 per hour. This position is also eligible for a Night Shift Bonus of $1.00/hour. All COLA and General Wage Increases are negotiated.
