Job Description Summary
As a member of the Steam turbine Auxiliaries Systems design, you will be an active contributor to the designing and sizing of auxiliary systems and creating specification of the main equipment and components, technical follow-up with vendors and making sure that equipment and systems are delivered with highest level of quality, on-time and with full compliance to codes and standards and contract requirements.
Job Description
Your Role/Responsibilities
- Overall design of the Turbine Auxiliaries Systems (e.g. lube oil system, control oil system, sealing steam system, drain system) and ensuring its safe design by participating in functional safety studies
- Issuing process flow diagrams, P&IDs, System description, electrical load list, piping interface list and BOQs
- Creating technical specifications for purchase of equipment and technical follow-up with suppliers, from the request for quotation phase to the commissioning phase on-site.

- determination of the location and orientation for lube oil tank, - cooler & - purifier, gland steam condenser and generator accessories equipment, like seal oil, gas cooling and stator cooling units.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Basic understanding of steam turbine design and power plant.
- Basic understanding of Steam turbine auxiliaries and process design
- Strong technical and scientific know-how and willingness to continuously extend and develop it
- Ability to travel extensively in support of assignments
Desired Characteristics
- Proficiency in Steam turbine generator auxiliaries operation
- Tendering & Project execution experience
- Advanced degree in Mechanical/Energy Engineering
- Excellent communications skills - both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal and responsive skills
