Roles and Responsibilities
- Customer Design Engineer: Lead the design and customization of electrical control circuits for high-voltage circuit breakers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
- Sales & Feasibility Support: Work closely with the sales team to evaluate technical feasibility, provide engineering insights, and support proposal development.
- R&D Collaboration: Partner with the R&D team to develop new product designs and enhancements tailored to customer needs.
- Manufacturing Support: Assist the shop floor with technical questions, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth production processes.
- Electrical Component Database Management: Maintain and improve the electrical component database, ensuring accuracy, standardization, and accessibility.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement upgrades to business processes, driving efficiency and innovation in engineering workflows.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited university or college
- Minimum 5 years working as an electrical engineer in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum 3 years experience working with ECAD software
Desired Characteristic
- Prior experience with High Voltage SF6 circuit breakers or related substation components
- Prior experience working with customers on engineer to order products
- Able to analyze customer specifications and understand job requirements
- Willing to work with production teams to troubleshoot technical issues both during work hours and off shift hours as required
- Experience using ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Proficient in AutoCAD software
- Strong data management skills (Python + SQL)
- Previous experience in leading complex technical projects
