Job Description Summary
The ANZ EHS Manager for Projects & Services will lead a team of EHS professionals across Australia and collaborate with cross-functional leaders and stakeholders to provide expert technical EHS support and oversight.
This role ensures the successful implementation and execution of all EHS requirements across projects and existing operations, including projects and services.
Additionally, the manager will contribute to the broader Onshore Wind EHS team, helping build a unified and successful organization.
As a key leader, the position will oversee the development, execution, and ongoing improvement of EHS programs to maintain a safe, compliant work environment across all wind energy operations and projects.

Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Manages and coordinates a broad spectrum of activities simultaneously.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of EHS resources.
- Provide oversight and governance to ensure EHS compliance with applicable management systems, programs legislation and standards for projects within their portfolio.
- Serves as an EHS expert for applicable regulatory and industry standard requirements for projects/services activities within their portfolio.
- Able to proactively partner and develop positive working relationships with customers, external agencies and contractors as well as internal cross-functional personnel.
- Provide oversight and governance to ensure EHS compliance with applicable management systems, programs legislation and standards for projects within their portfolio.
- Ensure compliance and coordinate with the Cross functional team to ensure the implementation of both GEV and legislative EHS expected programs and training requirements.
- Support ITO/OTR and handover or response to customer queries for projects within their portfolio.
- Supports all other demands as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety or technical equivalent from an accredited college or university, or equivalent qualification
- Relevant EHS experience in a professional EHS role overseeing the execution of EHS in projects or services environment
- Significant experience and demonstrated achievements with safety programs, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
- Certified Environmental or Health and Safety professional
- Medical fitness and ability to work at height per local and global standards
- Able to coach and support key influencers to drive EHS compliance and the reduction of risk through team engagement and help develop an organizational culture that prioritizes EHS.
- Knowledge of EHS management systems
- Fluent English (verbally & in writing)

- Have domain expertise in one or more of the following: Electrical Safety and LOTO requirements, crane safety, construction safety, fall prevention, confined space.
- Understand lean and be able to apply lean principles.
- Trained to Global Wind Organization (GWO) basic safety standard.
- Additional language skills.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Ability to travel 40% of the time
- Currently residing within the region (Melbourne or Sydney)
