Job Description Summary
GE Vernova is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join the new Singrobo-Ahouaty Hydro Power Plant, about 2 hours north-west of Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
As the Plant's Electrical Engineer you will be executing the electrical and I&C maintenance activities in GE Vernova's scope supported by an Electrical or I&C Technician. You will be responsible for carrying out routine electrical maintenance, to support the Customers Operation team in troubleshooting, all in accordance with contractual requirements, GE processes, EHS instructions and local regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Managing the Electrical and I&C maintenance activities of GE Vernova's scope of the Power Plant with the support of an Electrical / I&C technician and subcontractors, as needed.
- Ensure proper and effective Electrical / I&C maintenance of the Power Plant in accordance with safety, environmental and legal regulations
- Planning and executing ongoing maintenance activities, in coordination with the Operations team.
- Building and implementing work procedures.
- Ensuring that all works on site are performed in accordance with the O&M Contract, the power plant's technical specifications and local regulations, and in adherence to high EHS and quality standards.

Requirements:
- Electrical Engineer of comparable professional degree
- Licensed Electrical Engineer in Ivory Coast.
- Minimum 4 years experience in a similar role, working with HV transformers, substations and heavy rotating equipment.
- Knowledge of engineering practices, functions and processes involved in the operation and maintenance of an Industrial Facility.
- Experience in electrical maintenance of pumps, motors, blowers, low voltage systems, generators, UPS, control systems and AC systems.
- Ability to work at heights and access to confined spaces.
- Strong safety culture
- Good personal skills and ability to work in a team.
- Fluent in French, English is an advantage.
