Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Engineers to develop and implement new designs and design improvements
- Execute and document subsystem and component validation test plans.
- Evaluate power circuit protection and coordination.
- Participate in FMEA, risk assessment, and root cause analysis activities.
- Provide technical clarification of designs with suppliers, manufacturing, and services teams.
- Test and qualify components for production, and resolve issues as needed to maintain product quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or related discipline.
- Knowledge of electrical distribution, power electronics, or control system design.

- Familiarity with power electronics and control systems.
- Familiarity with wind turbine or photovoltaic system technologies.
- Familiarity with instrumentation and measurement of power converters.
- Familiarity with Arc Flash analysis (EasyPower or SKM) and testing.
- Helpful technical skills: Electronics lab instruments (Oscilloscope, power supplies), Matlab, C/C++, SPICE simulation, PCB schematic & layout tools, 3 phase system analysis, protection coordination & selection (fuses, breakers), component & conductor sizing & selection.
The salary range for this position is $69,600 - $104,400 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation. This posting is expected to close on September 13th or thereafter.
