As an Electrical Cabinet Fabricator, you will engage in assembling electrical control cabinets based off drawingslueprints. You will be using various hand tools, plasma cutter, and drill table to compete the tasks.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Read and understand electrical drawings and procedures
- Use plasma cutter and drill table to make modification to sheet metal
- Assemble small and large sub-assemblies with components such as power supplies, IO packs, module boards, terminal blocks, circuit breakers, etc., according to drawings/blueprints.
- Assemble control cabinet and components in cabinet based off drawingslueprints.
- Perform electrical assembly activities, such as stripping, crimping, terminating wire.
- Interface with supervisor and/or manager to give progress updates as required.
- Maintain equipment & clean around work area.
- Drive safety requirements/EHS guidelines and compliance with current policies

Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Minimum of 1-year work experience in hardware assembly.
Eligibility Requirements
- Be able to lift and carry 40 lbs.
- Be able to work on elevated platforms.
- Willingness and ability to work overtime on short notice, to meet business needs.
- Be able to read, understand and follow engineering drawingslueprints.
- Be able to efficiently operate hand tools.
- Be able to mount component, pull and terminate wire.
Desired Characteristics:
- Minimum of 1-year previous work experience in assembling cabinets or sub-assemblies.
- Knowledgeable in the use of various hand tools including, but not limited to impact, drills, plasma cutter, drill table
- Experience operating an overhead crane.
- Basic computer skills - Kronos entries.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Independent and energetic self-starter.
- Able to communicate and interface with other departments, such as quality and customer representatives.

Pay Transparency
The base hourly pay range for this position is $19.40 -$23.90 hr. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
