Job Description Summary

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):

The Renewable ERP Operations Lead will be responsible all aspects of Operational Support related to the SAP Altais ERP daily operations with a primary focus on either Financial/Controllership modules and areas or Projects Modules and related solutions to become a Subject Matter Expert for the business and Digital Technology DevOps team. This role will support monthly and quarterly closing processes.

- Provide day to day Operations support along with month end and quarter closing activities (weekend and holiday working may be required for close periods)

- Providing daily direction and priority setting to vendor team with regards to work planning, resource planning, stakeholder alignment and issue resolution. Oversee on more complex incidents and service requests to guide, interpret and extrapolate, staying process oriented
- Formulate support plans to achieve overall goals, technical requirements, schedules, & contract commitments for incidents, requests and changes
- Support key users on frequent issues/concerns on business processes and connection with SAP
- Provide Closing Coordination - in step with Accounting Operations/Controllership/FP&A serving as main point of contact for issues and timing concerns, monitoring interfaces and closing activities
- Streamline month end closing where possible, assist with automation and LEAN activities and problem solving for repeat issues
- Act as Asia or Europe point of contact for all SAP ERP products with primary focus on Finance/Close and Services related items
- Act as key contact for any specific reporting needs and pointing users to those available, extrapolating requirements, acting as liaison between business and software architects or tableau team
- Consult and assist on data issues and process issues that go along with SAP
- Act as Localization SME and Compliance expert for various countries and audits when necessary
- Provide Key Business Process Knowledge to help translate business situations and needs to technical teams
- Assist with new business requests (intake process and business case scenarios) - connect business requirements to what the true end result or product and how it works once deliverable, including limitations (system vs. process)
- Support end users with training needs - directing to materials, documenting gaps, improving communications, scheduling training, building adoption plan
- Support Contractors with deep domain expertise to help with ticket closure and response time!
- Work with SAP ERP Factory Deployment Team to ensure successful transition of new deployments from Hypercare to Day-to-Day Operations.
- Ensure alignment with local business operational leaders in all areas of ERP support
- Ensure work delivered by team is consistent with project quality standards and definition
- Report progress, issues and risks to DevOps Leadership on weekly basis
- Maintain effective working relationship with finance or projects stakeholders, peers, team members and vendors
- Proactively identify continuous improvement of the Altais Core Models based on the interaction with the business processes to bring simplification/optimization to the product design team in the ERP factory
- Serve as a facilitator to resolve complex process and IT issues to ensure committed SLAs are met
- Ensure coordination between other regional production areas and products (i.e. Supply Chain, Services) and other initiatives
- Serve as operational point of escalation for SAP ERP during Asia or Europe time zones if other support teams are not available.
- Prepare, present and participate in various meetings with various IT and Finance leadership teams on program, process and system recommendations

Qualifications/Requirements
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting and/or related technical, finance experience
- Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience leading and implementing large scale programs or ERP initiatives
- Minimum of 3 years ERP Functional and Business Process Knowledge.
- Demonstrated experience in shared services
- Demonstrated ERP and Financial Support Operational experience
- High Energy & Self Motivated
- Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills
