Job Description Summary
The Controls Liaison Engineer will act as the engineering single point of contact between Alliance engineers, local Latam supply chain and suppliers, providing technical guidance, helping to clear assembling doubts, enabling a more efficient communication between the engineering team and Campinas shop floor.
In this role you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers to implement controls solutions that supply the world with energy, developing a solid knowledge and experience with electrical and mechanical control systems for turbines and distributed control systems.

Activities description
- Frequently interaction with customers, suppliers, and Supply Chain team in Latam.
- Support the Alliance for the engineering Pre-FAT activities, configuring HMIs and Switches and supporting the Alliance in conducting FATs with customer
- Support Alliance engineers for Latam site walks, proper collecting site data and customer inputs for projects development.
- In charge for engineering daily management activities related to projects production in Campinas site
- Cultivate teamwork, positive working environment, and morale; drive a sense of urgency and quality with speed
- Participate in Kaizens & Lean Action Workouts
- Make sure the project designed by the Alliance meets Latam TRS and the items defined can be founded in the region always looking for producibility and lean flow.
- Proactive Quality engagement for Defect reduction / process improvements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in STEAM
- Proven technical experience in the GE Vernova Controls line.
- Available to travel to Latam customers and suppliers around 25% of time
- Portuguese and English speaker
Desired Characteristics
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- knowledge of Cymplicity, ControlsST engineering tools and MKVIe Controller
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and passion for learning
- Demonstrated time management skills
- Spanish Speaker
