Job Description Summary

Responsible for site work to be compliant to legal requirements inclusive of government reporting, application and registration of licenses, license management and permit management. Nominated as registered Site Representative for Planned Outages and Site Events (unplanned, call-outs, extra work, TIL, CMU, etc) as necessary. Responsible for requisition and partnering for all 3rd party subcontracting. Support CPMs for systems work and any other tasks direct manager reasonably require for role expansion. Enable team in aspects of technical, engineering, commercial, sourcing, logistics, quality, etc as main source of support. Engage in customer interface, display leadership and be the domain expert regarding coverage area.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Apply registration for Planned Outages and Site Events as required, responsible for government reporting, business license management, permit management.
  • Nominated as registered Site Representative for all Planned Outages in Korea, mandatorily requires Professional Engineer license, to perform legally required Site Representative's duty in Planned Outages
  • Support Site Events (unplanned, call-outs, extra work, TIL, CMU, etc) as required to plan Site Event and preparations together with CPMs.
  • Collaborate with Sourcing for requisition and partnering for Planned Outages and Site Events that requires 3rd party subcontractor or other than FieldCore/OFS as required, planning and preparation of partnership, management and overall supervision throughout such Site Events.
  • Any tasks direct manager reasonably requires to perform, including but not limited to, focal point for ALOC efforts, CSA/MMP annual Insurance renewal, etc.
  • Act as the point of contact to the customer for timely and satisfactory resolution of concerns covering a wide variety of support services offered for assigned region, product, or coverage area. Assure timely resolution of issues and keep the customer advised of the progress of the project and negotiate changes and variations and solutions to any issue arising.
  • Display team leadership for assigned area, lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. May guide others to consider a different point of view.
  • Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and prior experience to execute policy/strategy.
  • Assist in sales campaigns for new contracts and proposals. Interact with members of the customer service, parts & transactional services, field service, repair service and/or other teams. Function as liaison between internal organizations and customers for assigned contracts.
  • Deep understanding of how work of own integrates with other teams and contributes to the area. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders.

Required Qualification

The candidate should have the electrical or construction related licenses as follow:

Principal Engineer with relevant experience of 5 year or greater

Desired Characteristics

Highly disciplined and self-maintaining, anticipating and planning, responsive and prompt, maintain high level of productivity on remote work, managing wing-to-wing responsibility and taking ultimate ownership of all that happens at responsible sites or customers. Demonstrate established ability to document, analyze, problem-solve, market and execute programs. Strong oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal and persuasion skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
